In the early stages of SEC, our team would assess schools right after a new build or renovation, only to realize we should have been involved earlier, to help schools make the right improvements and embed safety within the design process.
After a decade of now helping thousands of organizations across the country, we want to help save you countless hours upfront and lower the cost of your entire design project. It’s important to remember that design must be based on your operational needs and what is best for business. We cannot design buildings based on emergencies, but we do need to insert physical security measures where it is appropriate.

As part of this service, our team can assist clients by serving as the conduit through which all safety and security-related decisions are made, thus maximizing schedule and budgetary efficiency and inserting much needed, and unrivaled expertise in the process. We work to integrate relevant safety and security features, communication elements and emergency response plans and related elements when appropriate.
In addition, SEC can review all drawings and assist with developing specifications along with the design team. We remain engaged both during the project and one full year after the project has been complete, in order to ensure all safety-related features have been installed correctly and are working effectively.
