We understand that your environment, culture, resources, and safety goals are unique.   The annual security partnership gives your workplace access to an experienced consultant to assist with individual projects and initiatives at any time throughout the year. 

Below are the services included within the Annual Security Partnership

Site Assessment Implementation

SEC provides expertise and guidance to help implement the security recommendations needed for a holistic approach to safety and security.

Your consultant will assist with the following:

  • Establish priorities and timelines with the district’s core safety team.
  • Build an implementation plan, identify responsible parties, and establish action steps.
  • Launch ongoing meetings with key stakeholders identified in the plan.
  • Debrief and review action step progress with the core safety team and provide updates to your leadership team.
  • Assist with development of RFP’s.

Ongoing Security Consultation

Workplaces can never predict when they will need support and guidance around a multitude of safety and physical security issues.  Unfortunately, the need for expert guidance has never been greater.  SEC can provide assistance in whatever areas you need support.  Some examples include:

  • Review Emergency Operations Plans
  • Develop emergency response plans
  • Provide guidance on district training (AED, Stop the Bleed, CPR, etc.)
  • Ensure alignment between your organizational practices and safety requirements.
  • Assistance with procurement of grant funding.
  • Ensure staff awareness of safety legislation.
  • Review and provide guidance regarding your behavioral threat assessment model.
  • Provide ongoing support to your behavioral threat assessment team.

Incident Management and Crisis Communication

Having access to your personal SEC consultant will provide another level of critical support which will be necessary when incidents occur. Your consultant will be able to provide guidance regarding incident response and assist the district with any questions that may arise.

Communication with your stakeholders and employees is an important element as you work through any incident. SEC can develop custom communications for any incident that might arise.

Safety Team Support

Safety teams are an integral part of a comprehensive safety and security program. If your workplace has already established a safety team, SEC will participate on the team to provide guidance and consultation as needed. If your workplace has not established a safety team, your SEC consultant will assist with the development and leadership of that team.

Social Media & Online Threat Monitoring

Our annual security partnership includes social media and online threat monitoring services, to enhance your overall security program and to aid in the prevention of violence. In situations where a concerning behavior arises, having access to an individual’s social media activity can expand the intelligence picture.  Your organization can access this service at anytime throughout the partnership year.  

eSEC - Online Security Membership

Safety and security resources whenever you need them. This exclusive online site is the hub for SEC members, complete with videos, action guides, and access to live training courses. The eSEC Membership is updated regularly to ensure school districts have access to the resources needed.

Trainings

SEC provides a multitude of safe trainings that are critical to a comprehensive approach to safety and security.  Two annual trainings are included within your annual SAFE program.  You can choose from any of the following training courses here.
