The goal of this training is to provide the essential elements of a thorough incident investigation, detailing the process from beginning to end. Content includes questioning techniques, preservation of evidence, involvement of law enforcement and basic student rights.
Why is this training so important?
School administrators often are asked to conduct investigations of students, and in some cases staff, regarding involvement in inappropriate, and in some cases illegal, behaviors or activities. This training course will teach administrators how to structure the investigative interview, how to evaluate the credibility of the subject’s behavior and best practices for documentation and involving law enforcement.
