Crisis Communication Training

It is imperative that organizations prepare not only for the life safety issues, but also have plans for communication and post-emergency issues.  This training provides best practices and effective tactics which will enable your organization to provide accurate and timely information to those in need. When an event or crisis occurs, quick and clear communication helps to ensure all stakeholders have the information needed. Investing the time and effort up front will help you effectively meet your responsibilities and obligations, while protecting your brand and reputation.

Why is this training so important?

Crises are inevitable and unpredictable. No matter the type or scale of the crisis, it can have a negative impact on the organization’s image, finances, and relationships. That’s why employees need to be trained on how to communicate effectively during a crisis. Crisis communication training can help them understand the situation, identify the key messages, choose the appropriate channels, and address the concerns of different audiences.

Key Learning Objectives

Prepare. Prevent. Protect.

At SEC, we believe in a proactive approach to crisis management, noting the best response begins way before it even takes place.  If the first time you are thinking about how you’ll respond is when the incident is happening, you are already too late.  It takes planning in the clear light of day to ensure you can respond effectively and efficiently to keep your people as safe as possible.
